[Dirvish] Win11 client backup using dirvish

Hi all,

In short: I solved this with the help from Eric Smith and Robert
Burgoyne, the founders of trueblade. Eric is the author of tb-rsync-vss.

Here is my little story:

Back in 2017 I downloaded the msi installer tb-rsync-vss-64-1.3.msi,
probably from the link to bitbucket on the site

Nowdays from this I had only the *.exe left on the running Win10 client.
and just copied that to the new Win11.
Well - I am not the windows specialist, more on linux.
This is the one and only windows box in my house, it is my wife's.
I was not able to convince her to Linux.
Then the error message appeared. I did some research and downloaded the
vcredist_x86.exe and vcredist_x64.exe, that were recommend.
I installed the first and rebooted and then installed the second and
rebooted.......error still there.
So I searched for any more and found the above website in the wayback
archive:

All information there, but unfortunately the bitbucket link was empty.
So at the end, I cried for help to the dirvish mailing list and also to
Robert Burgoyne
I got a quick response from Eric and also from Robert. Unfortunately the
hints did not help me to get it run directly.

BUT: When going through all this again, I found the msi installer,
yeah!!! (I do not throw away anything ever)

I uninstalled the vcredist* in order to check whether this is needed at
all.
I installed the msi installer and  ->  working on win11 like a charm,
too!!!!.
So the vcredist* are not needed, you just need the right installer.

One question is left: Why is there no activity in dirvish any more?
Not that it is needed - still running (even with recent MS-Systems as
client with the msi installer of tb-rsync-vss)
Probably because ist is not easy to make money with it.....

The installer seems not to be there, but he will look into it, in the
meantime: If anyone needs it, I hope Eric allows me to forward it.
