[Dirvish] Integrity check / checksums for stored files

Hello,

I've been reading the awesome http://www.taobackup.com once more, and
noticed a single missing feature in dirvish: integrity checking.

i.e. the index doesn't contain a MD5/SHA-1/SHA-256 sum of the file
backed up, which means that any mucking with the backup can't be
discovered easily. (both MD5 and SHA-1 should still be sound for this,
although definitely unusable in a cryptographic context)

I guess this could be done with a post-script (I'm doing an fdupes -H
there already, which actually _adds_ to the risk of data corruption
across backups), but maybe adding this to the core of dirvirsh would
make sense, having it as default / configurable option?

Sadly, rsync doesn't support collecting this kind of information at
transfer-time (yet), otherwise this would be easier. Hmm.

Where is dirvish maintained these days? Is there an official github
project or similar, where one could send pull requests?
