You *do* realize that the expiry rules only affect new images, no?
dirvish-expire looks at the summary files. Those are created according
to the configuration at time of making the image.

So, no, master.conf or default.conf don't overrule what dirvish-expire
will do.

You can however simply edit the summary files to adjust the expiry.
