Having read the rsync manual -A should do the trick but bizarrely I now
have:
[root at dc snapshot]# getfacl /home/Company/Final\ Accounts/
getfacl: Removing leading '/' from absolute path names
# file: home/Company/Final Accounts/
# owner: root
# group: root
user::rwx
user:root:rwx
group::---
group:root:---
group:users:rwx
mask::rwx
other::---
default:user::rwx
default:user:root:rwx
default:group::---
default:group:root:---
default:group:users:rwx
default:mask::rwx
default:other::---
[root at dc snapshot]# getfacl 2014.04.04-20.06.42/tree/Company/Final\
Accounts/
# file: 2014.04.04-20.06.42/tree/Company/Final Accounts/
# owner: root
# group: root
user::rwx
user:root:rwx
group::---
group:root:---
group:users:rwx
mask::rwx
other::---
default:user::rwx
default:user:root:rwx
default:group::---
default:group:root:---
default:group:users:rwx
default:mask::rwx
default:other::---
This is the mount in my /etc/fstab:
UUID=132d2074-1b86-4406-b48f-385483d6d0fd /mnt/iscsi
ext4 _netdev,user_xattr,acl,barrier=1 1 1
Thanks for your help would love to get this resolved!
