I would like to add that I have compiled and installed rsync in the icy box, 
so now I can run rsync native in the icy box (with its weakness and 
limitations)

So, doing a simple rsync between two directories I have this result:

sent 518226 bytes  received 3842260 bytes  3399.99 bytes/sec
total size is 3668472713  speedup is 841.30
