Hi,

sorry for the delay. Basically I changed the mount options:

ulises:/mnt/md1/backup  /opt/backup     nfs     
rsize=32k,wsize=32k,intr,rw,nfsvers=3,retrans=10,noatime 0 0

the noatime.

I'm think seriously  the propose of make the backup to another box with rsync 
and then from then, do the copy to icy box.

Otherwise, the option to compile rsync in the icy box are evaluated.
