[Dirvish] Error in http://www.dirvish.org/INSTALL ?

Hello,

I'm puzzling over http://www.dirvish.org/INSTALL

It says one can have multiple directories as the tree:

> tree: /e/home /home

However I noticed from dirvish mailing lists archives people are
asking if multiple trees are possible and always seem to get an answer
telling them to use exclude instead. Is the INSTALL wrong about this?
If not, is there some documentation about adding a directory to the
configuration of an existing vault if one cannot just throw it in?
